When the fog lifts

Living in the Rockies we often get a layer of fog,
especially after it rained the day before.  That layer
of fog can look so gloomy as the light is down and
you can't see the sun.

However, I know from experience that if you are patient the sun will burn through and you might even end up with a beautiful
sunny day.

Isn't that the way life is so often. Sometimes it feels as if our life is covered  by a gloomy cloud.  Things just aren't going right and
and life looks dark.  Yet the Bible says in Psalms
30:5b that "weeping may last for the night, but a shout
of joy comes in the morning."

My friend, God will turn things around in His perfect timing.  The fog in your life will lift.  Wow, just thinking about that
truth makes it look sunnier already!

Let God Fight for You

"Let God Fight For You"

This is one of the main thoughts I took away from a movie my wife and I saw recently.  The movie is called "War Room".  You've got to see it.  It is powerful!  So often we are busy fighting our own battles and trying to solve our own problems.  What a shame when God's incredible power is available to us if we just tap into it.

How do you do that?  Through prayer.  You can turn things over to Him and watch the power of the Almighty God go to work for you.  This is the same power that raised Jesus Christ from the dead.

My friend, are you tired of fighting your own battles and going nowhere?  Go into your "war room" and let God fight for you.  You'll be amazed at what He will do!

Think on this:

II Corinthians 10:4-6

The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ. And we will be ready to punish every act of disobedience, once your obedience is complete.
